has anyone else looked at this project rainfall thing? i don't have a wii, but if they'd release these games, which they should since they've already translated them for Europe, here i'd consider it.

what's up with that anyway? Europe gets games we don't? it's supposed to be the other way around.

will a European Wii work with an American TV computer card?

I liked them on Facebook, but I don't have enough money for financial support (Not this month, I mean). I just bought Xenogears from the PSN yesterday, though, so maybe that shows that there's still interest in the spiritual series. :)

Don't you think that supporting the series will make it more likely that they will develop a direct sequel than boycotting will? Besides, Xenogears was awesome and, although I haven't played it, Xenosaga looks awesome, so don't you think Xenoblade will be awesome? (It's reviews seem to say so... :P )

honestly i think they will never finish xenosaga, but yes it is an awesome game good story, brilliant characters. i never played xenogears and i can't find a cheap copy, i saw one on amazon for 100$ i think, i'm not paying that much for a ps1 game. besides i'm terrible with wii games if there are any motion controls at all i can't play the game. if it was on the ps3 i might consider it, but i don't bother with wii games to much unless i can use the gamecube controller.

I got Xenogears off the PSN for $10, but I suppose you may have some reason you can't. :? Xenosaga DOES support classic controllers though so if you have one, it would be pretty similar to a standard RPG experience. :D

i got psn but at that point i saw alot of hate for xenosaga coming from players of xenogears, people that were nit-picking over the game not being like xenogears, and willing to say xenosaga is not good enough.

i got tired of reading it, and this crap was on every video i watched in the comments. it made me hate xenogears because of all the hate enough to not bother to even think of getting it at all.

in fact there is alot of these people on every other game series. legend of zelda, sonic and others. 2d sonic fans have the gall to say the adventure series was horrible, and mostly because of sonic's new design. because of all this hate i am starting to hate older games i once loved, if anything just to stick it to them if nothing else.

maybe one day i will try it but maybe after a good long time, if i ever start forgetting all the bashing that will be the day i will try it.

Yeah, I know what you mean. The Sonic Adventure games are my favorite Sonic games and I don't get some of the hate thrown at them, and I never beat Final Fantasy VII due to a combination of it already being spoiled, not enjoying it, and the fan base. It's not bad, just not as revolutionary as many say it is.

yeah i played ff7 and it is a bit overrated, but i think it was the first one to go into 3d, but still it really isn't as perfect as alot of people claim, but it is a good game i played through it several times, but i usually will play a game with out end till i see the credits.

been playing infamous and little big planet.

xenosaga has better character development and story but, you should finish it, having a game i have yet to beat drives me crazy but that's me.

yeah sonic adventure 1 and 2 are great games, and they rip on it so much nowadays, sonic's latest games haven't been very good to me. i found this one site where this guy was tearing into sonic 4 for the dumbest reasons. all i could think was they wanted a 2d sonic game so sega gave them a 2d sonic game and they still whine about sonic's eye color.

basic if sonic is not in a 2d game he sucks, reading sonic 4 reviews are painful. ungrateful jerks...

I actually liked Sonic 4 a lot from the demo I played and it seems that the Sonic Team is trying, at least.

I have a friend who says the pawn shop has a copy of Xenosaga but I don't have any money. Luckily, I don't think anyone around my town will buy it. (One advantage of living in a town of country bumpkins :P )

same here we live in the middle of nowhere, we's all rednecks down here. [not joking] i'd rather be closer to the city to be honest, nearest town is 30 minutes away.

but yeah you should get the game it was a weird but good story, but the end leaves alot of unanswered questions, so see if you can find 2 and 3, 3 solves most of the questions in the game and wraps things up nicely. each game has a different gameplay style, 1st one is mostly easy, 2nd one is the hardest imo, and 3rd is more like a standard rpg but strategy is key once you have a good strategy bringing down most of the nasty bosses is a breeze, also try and spec everyone into a specific role, healer, tank, or dps and try to keep the team you have balanced, my first playthrough was a headache because i wasn't keeping a balance in my team, second playthrough i kept a balance and thought out every action before actually making them and it was a heck of a lot easier.

i played sonic 4 as well it is a good game but i got stuck on the last stage of the casino world, and the dark level is way to hard for me, dark levels have always been my weakness and i don't bother with the special stages can't do them. but i like how sonic can actually stop when you let go of the control stick.

It was not revolutionary by it's gameplay, but it was by it's presentation. Back then the game was breathaking with it's prerendered backgrounds of cities and a canon built off a insane scale. (As well as the over the top summons.)

yeah it's transition into 3d, it is a good game. but it gets hyped far to much imo, i mean the fanbase is almost a cult. i personally wasn't that impressed with it's graphics, the action scenes are to slow when i think of action scenes i think of stuff like infamous 1\2 have in every second, and i don't like the grainy cutscenes, looks like it's still on a circa [not sure what that is it's an effect in vegas that makes your videos look ugly and grainy]. the story most of the time is hard to grasp, the characters aren't fleshed out enough, but i kinda understand that it takes voices to flesh out a character effectively.

and the one we developed character in the series zack fair gets shoved into the background, and the whole story was started by zack, i was expecting him to be in dissidia 2 but i guess things can't be that good. he gets crisis core his only time to be mentioned, and when i read comments regarding ff7 anywhere 90% of the time i never see crisis core get mentioned. it was a great game and still is, sure it had genisis [the only bad thing about the game], but zack was a character that was the most well designed in the series.

i like the game but i don't see it as deserving of the hype it gets, i got the game after i had gotten my gamecube and ps2 and i saw nothing special in ff7, heck at the time i was trying to find erghiez, and just settled with ff7 because the guy said that the two games were similar so i am neutral to the game.

but i have burned many days and hours and maybe even months raising my own gold chocobo nugget from scratch several times everytime i would redo my save because i found out i missed something in the game that was important. my first game it was the morph materia, i think i sold it in kalm. now i'm playing the game again on the ps3, i have it downloaded and saved on the harddrive. i actually like raising chocobo from scratch.
