Short hair is very attractive on a woman, IMO. Yours is no exception, Spazzer!

Ive noticed some girls with short hair dont have feminine style on their hair. I think thats got a lot to do with it. spazz, yours has quite the feminine touch to it.

I knew someone at work who kept saying that different girls with short hair looked like boys

Hair length is not of any concern to me. But I say that about a great many things.

We're talking about hair on the head, right? 8O

If it's leg hair we're talking about I actually prefer a woman to have it super short or even better, shaved. :P

If that's you in your avatar that is not what I'd consider super short.

I think it's really just different strokes for different folks. some guys do like short hair.

Personally, I find the ponytail aesthetically pleasing. Rather ironic considering that it is a hairstyle designed to make the back of the head resemble a horse's backside :? .

I like spazzy's hair but I've always been a fan of the bob. I thought about getting mine cut but I'm too scared. Some of these these "professionals" do a terrible job. I had one girl just whack it all off without any layers or dimensions in length. One thing to keep in mind is how it frames your face. As for guys not liking it, I know this isn't the case for all guys as I've seen them hand in hand with women that even had hair shaved completely off or in a boy's style. I suppose long gives the traditional view and attraction of femininity. In some countries it's illegal for women to cut their hair b/c it implies they are taking the position of men..whatever that means. I guess it's one of those preferential things. I love the bob and many other hair styles that're not in the mainstream right now.

A goat and a horse. Now that'd be interesting.

What you perceive as 'traditional' may be more 'instinctive'. Long hair is a sign of good health. Healthy women produce more babies. Healthy men are better providers. Our evolved DNA may provide an instinctive attraction to people with long hair.

... maybe not...

Could also be that guys have the "post-breakup haircut" phenomena in mind when they see women with new short haircuts? The phenomena where women feel the urge to cut off and/or drastically change their hair after a bad breakup. So maybe guys see your hair and assume you're only just out of a bad relationship and not..quite..ready enough to date again.

I know the phenomena mightn't be real and might only happen some of the time, but it applied to me twice (cut my hair short in 2005 after breaking up with my first BF, and again last year after my third BF finally disappeared off the scene).
