When I move back to America, I want to help people with ASDs, but I don't know how. What would help?
Donations? Going to AS groups and being there for people? Organizing an AS meet up to do something fun?
It's the only sort of thing I've really felt strongly about helping, but I just don't know what to do!

I recently used meetup.com to find others on the spectrum and quickly found the people who primarily host the meetups. They have been very helpful in giving me knowledge of autism related events.

I too feel a desire to help but am not at that stage just yet. I need to learn more about myself and get used to others with autism.

I recommend looking up meetup.com for whatever area in USA you'll be in. They probably have members already. Voice your desires and I'm sure you'll find plenty of ways you can help.

Just my two cents.
