Angular and javascript magic today.

Modals that open all the way and yet the component they're hosted in won't show their full length, unless you manually resize the screen - then it works but if you try manually sending a resize event nothing happens.

I get the impression that my use of OnPush change detection is at least part of the problem but normally anytime I had issues like these firing off a detectChanges() would fix it, this time it's completely impervious to that sort of thing.

The usual tools out the window now I'm either hoping that subscribing to the data loading on the subcomponent back to the parent and retriggering the detectChanges() might do something or, I might have to get a much deeper view into shadow DOM and all of that to figure out what else could be happening (ie. free research on top of already free work).

A day laborer had the nerve to whistle at me sexually

Another day laborer was screaming "chino" at me and I tattled to the cops on standby and the cop told me that the day laborer said he was sorry and he will not do it again.

That's the same day laborer that had the nerve to slap me on the back in the Litterbox

I'm upset about the way a friend was treated at work.

Never mind. I said I'd avoid talking about such, even though it'll always be positive and caring.
