My Mom's best friend Donna had two Siamese cats. I remember them when I was a kid. They were so cute. She now has two new ones and they are kittens and full of mischief.

I was the proud mom to two lovely Siamese, Samantha and Prince. They were great cats, with completely opposite personalities. Samantha was feisty, while Prince was laid back. Samantha lived to be 20, but sadly, Prince just lived twelve years, very young for a pet in our family and especially for a Siamese mix. Both of my cats were Lynx (tabby) points. I love that kind of cat.

Anxiety.

Yesterday doctor Butler said she'd call "tomorrow afternoon"

Waited all f*****g "afternoon". Phone on high. (Anxiety)

No call

Didn't even go to the library because no talking on the phone and maybe no reception.

So I have to wait for her to call me

Today the Christian minister on the radio station I listen to while driving spoke so extremely repugnantly of Prophet Jonah that I can't stand it
Every week this minister had been speaking quite disrespectfully of Jonah but this time it was completely outrageous and unacceptable


He called him sick twisted sulking pouting selfish etc

He even compared him to mass shooters

The point of the story is to illustrate how deeply people can hurt someone

even if they repent it doesn't immediately heal and lingers and his very human reactions are not to be callously insulted but an opportunity to show compassion for those in that depressed isolated hopeless state
Yes it may be irrational on one level but on another it isn't at all

Yes it unhealthy to be so depressed and paranoid and mull over the pain
but God Himself understood n helped him get out of it and come back to life and his calling


That shows that God had the grace and patience and it shows how WE should approach ppl in that state of mind.

With kindness, playfulness (as he quoted Martin Luther King Jr as having said, though of course this uncompassionate sociopath of a minister stated he disagrees with King's take) forgiveness.. mutual forgiveness
It also shows how seriously bullying insulting can affect someone even someone who is more gifted than normal ppl (a prophet)

Instead this clearly hard-hearted minister chose to insult the prophet and compare him to mass shooters... insulting a prophet
Disrespectful and arrogant man

Really sad that a leader among his community chose to take the bully's route of bad-mouthing the memory of a beaten down depressed person
rather than use that as an opportunity to spread compassion

To be honest, how abhorrently the people of his land must have treated him for him to think leaving was his only option
How cruel they must have been to cause that much distress to a prophet who gained nothing and risked everything in seeking their audience.

How vicious their words and actions had to have been that even a prophet who God WD have made gifted to rise to the task , got trapped in a vicious cycle of depression and isolation
At no point did this preacher touch on that.on the SHAME of being a bully, even if you are one of many
