Specialists are the worst.
You wait months to see them, and get brushed off in seconds.

Maybe I'm in a bad mood but honestly, I'd report that.
I've had enough of these dickwads humiliating people in distress.

"Hysterical" is a very misogynistic medical term.
It's disgusting that it came from a doctor.
It devalues her stomach issue and makes fun of mental health.

Hysterical. It's a word with a very female-baiting history, coming from the Latin hystericus ("of the womb"). This was a condition thought to be exclusive to women – sending them uncontrollably and neurotically insane owing to a dysfunction of the uterus (the removal of which is still called a hysterectomy).

Agreed! Sending hugs you way. I am in a mood too. I told my sister to report him.

Hugs. ^

The thing is, most people are too intimidated to report.
The system tries to scare us away from it.

It's even worse for women, because we can be labelled "Karens".
I freaking hate that word, and can't believe women allow it.

Whatever she decides to do, I hope she's feeling better soon.

Thanks she met with her gp this morning and has a plan going forward. Her gp was horrified and is investigating ibs.

That's great news.
I assumed she was finished with her GP already.

I did a bunch of gastro / GERD tests at McMaster Hospital.
They were pretty decent, if she needs another referral.

I keep having sharp pains in my head and face because I hit my head really hard yesterday against a metal bar on accident. I felt a lot of pressure behind my eye on the same side that I hit and later I noticed that it was really bloodshot. My eye is fine now, but I still feel pressure in my head and I also feel really tired and nauseous.

The clubhouse was closed today because of that holiday.

Looking back at all the pent-up disappointment that I was feeling on Thursday evening. I'm always going on about how I can't stand self-appointed critics and than I do the same thing to myself in my darkest hour.
