Fraternal twins would have the same odds as siblings
From what I've read, identical twins are always close on the spectrum -- even when there are cases where only one is diagnosed, the other is found to have traits as well.

Yes. It is very possible. I have neighbors who are identical twins and one is NT while is LFA. It seems strange to me that this is possible for identical twins, but I guess that it is a result of something developmental rather than genetic.
My boys both have it but they are affected very differently.
One has words and eye contact, seeks attention and approval, points to show me things. The other has poor eye contact, doesn't play appropriately with toys, has very little language skills. Doesn't stay interested in most things for very long.
I can tell they have very different personalities. I'm not sure how to pick out what is ASD and what is personality. Actually, ASD is a part of their personality - so I'm guessing that's one reason why the present differently.

My identical twins have autism. They were DX at Yale. I learned there that if 1 identical twin has autism the other has a 70% chance of also having it.
Yeah, I heard something similar. I heard that there is a 60% chance that the other twin has autism.
