No, their unattractive obesity was overlooked because they were wealthy. In the olden days, food was expensive, and thus being fat was a sign that you were wealthy and/or powerful. This is much like how today some young women will go for an old man because he is rich. It was not the fat that was attractive, it was the wealth it signified. And today food is cheap and plentiful, so being fat no longer signifies wealth, hence the change in attitude.

No, You looked at pornographic pictures from those times and protrayal of nude women in art, they were on the big side, they would be considered 'fat' by the standards of today's media.

No, it was still admiration of wealth, not of obesity.

And the admiration of wealth continues today. Look at today's porn, frex in Playboy magazine. They certainly do not look poor. Those women are often depicted wearing expensive underwear and/or jewellry, and often in an lavish/wealthy/expensive house or location.

I have provided an explanation for the change in attitude regarding obesity -- food is no longer expensive; obesity no longer signifies wealth. What is your explanation for the change in attitude? You have none!

That is a useless thing to say because in real life, there are many more than only those 2 choices.

Yes this is true. Which is why if you are very lonely, and looking for a relationship, you should go out with someone regardless of what they look like (at least once). If you really like someone they will end up looking good to you and if you dislike them they will look ugly.

So you like it when women get raped do you? If those are your fantasies I suggest you keep them to yourself as rape is a very brutal and distressing thing for anyone, man or woman, to go through. Plus its a very touching and sensitive subject for myself, but then I'm quite strong. Most people would be offended by remarks such as this. Be very careful what you say in future, this is going too far by saying you feel malicious pleasure when you hear of a woman being raped.

Plus if you would actually read what I put as opposed to trying to read something that isn't there, you may understand what I was saying. Who said you looked bad? I never said anyone looked bad, I was talking about natural selection, it goes on in many species, including humans. How was that in any way against you? I'm sure you are good looking and intelligent. However, after what I have just read from you, I would not describe what you put as intelligent, but stupid. Oh and for your information, its not just SOME women who treat men like this, men do it too. Wake up Litigious and stop causing trouble with remarks like this. No one deserves to get raped, end of discussion. I am enraged that such a comment was made.

I second Fiz's comment. I'm disappointed that someone would support such an act for no other reason than bitterness and spite.

You can't make yourself physically attracted to someone. There has to be something there in the first place. Otherwise at best you're going to become friends, not mates.

Why would you have to forgive the victims of rape? They didn't deserve to get raped.

You haven't read enough of the thread.

Absolutely, even two things are wrong with me:

1) I suffer from Asperger's syndrome.

2) I have been treated unjustly and cruelly litterally a thosand times from stupid NT jerks, a great deal of them beautiful, heartless, braindead, ego tripped arrogant b*****s.

Oh, it's of course a very nice thing of these stuck up b*****s that think that they have the right to treat a nice looking intelligent man like s**t because he isn't a mean, stupid, brutal, false NT turd?

I was not suggesting that a person could force themselves to become physically attracted to someone; I was just saying you might become attracted if you got to know someone.

So because some people act in a shallow manner or in a way you don't like, they deserved to be raped? Your logic is extremely twisted. People have hurt me in the past but I wouldn't wish such an awful thing to happen to them.

I also suffer from Asperger's syndrome. Last time I checked it was a PDD described as having a dash of autism not a mental disorder where you wish pretty women to be raped.

Along with the hillbilly goth post, this post is getting too weird.
