Sometimes I wonder if there would be a strong connection between astrology and aspergers...

Were any of you born on cusps? I was born March 20 which is Cusp of Rebirth. Also my feng shui symbol is metal, so maybe that's why I have autism.

Nope. I was born November 15th or the week of charm.

What the heck is a cusp?

There have been studies that link higher rates of autistic spectrum disorders to winter and fall births so I guess one could say there would be more Libras, Scorpios, Sagittarius, Capricorns, Aquarius, and Pieces than chance would allow.

I have looked at the astrology of many people, autistic and not, and have, so far, found no astrological markers for autism or neurotypicality.

By your system (which I've never seen before, but it is interesting) I was born in the cusp of Beauty 8)

How could one determine one's feng shui element?

I am a system builder, lol. If someone is a born system builder, does that automatically make them an Aspie since systemizing is associated with Aspiness?

I was born on september 23rd which is the cusp of beauty, i knew it was a cusp but didnt know it was referred to as the cusp of beauty. interesting, ive been told that i am a mixture of Libra and the one after me , which is caprico i think. cant say for usre if it can be related or not, but i defenitely think that your zodiac has a lot of effect on your life, for instance, ive read that people born in 1995, the yr of the pig, are fast easters, which i know i am, we tend to be lucky but we are reccomended to stay away from people our own age,l which is so true, because i always get along with people a yr younger or older than me, i never get along with people the same age as me.

Don't be ridiculous.

Astrology is garbage.

Quit peddling this superstitious nonsense.

ETA: I forgot to mock feng shui. Consider it mocked.

Woo is unworthy of human minds.

I think a "cusp" means right on the boundry between two things -like two zodiac signs.

Wasnt born on one.
Am a gemini born in the week "of the new language" which sounds interesting, but I havent a clue as to what that means.

Maybe it means that I should take up Esparanto!

I've heard of a study that correlated mental disorders as being more common in individuals born at certain times of year. The hypothesis was that different levels of light (day length) has an effect on the brain development in the womb.

I was born in November (week of charm, ha ha). It would be interesting if there was a higher incidence of ASD related to birth date, but I suspect we are all over the place.

As to that study, sorry I can't provide a link. I don't remember where I heard about it.

I'm a Gemini born on the Week of Freedom. I should have been a Taurus born on the Week of the Teacher, but the doctors decided to keep me in my mother longer. I now have a traumatic birth under my belt.

I see a neurologist due to Multiple Sclerosis. I forgot how this came up, but at one appointment he mentioned that a majority of people who have narcolepsy are born in March. He mentioned how it was in a medical journal.

If you're going to ascribe supernatural forces to explain AS, God made you an Aspie because of some sin your parents did before you were born. You were a dick in a past life so you were reincarnated as an Aspie. But most of all, you were born in a hospital with bad feng shui. That's why you're an Aspie.
