I found that whiny lonely guys usually have less success at dating than the lonely non-whiny guys.

However, I found it's quite the opposite for girls, I dunno why.

I knew at least 3 real life examples who were top whiners (whining constantly about not find a man, a bf...) and about dozens online.

Almost all of them have got bfs after months of non-stop whining.

I have a theory: Unlike guys, the whining does a positive effect for girls. It probably creates an 'damsel in distress' effect and so get more male attention.

And ironically, I find that the non-whiny single girls who are yet struggling at the dating world usually remain singles for a much longer time than the whiny girls, many of them are even involuntary always singles.

So for the poor non-whiny singles girls who are struggling quietly, here's a tip that may increase your chances by 300%: WHINE.

as a general rule, because women want somebody to look after them and men want somebody to look after. it is just another example of the sexist double standard that exists in the world. Also non-whiny girls (independent) often don't make men feel needed.

I wouldn't mind feeling not needed.
Just being tolerated would be enuf for me.

the more money you have, the more they will tolerate you. especially bimbos. of course i am talking about women who are under 30 and have an inflated sense of how valuable they are to the opposite sex. if you wait for a 40 year old single woman you don't have to be that rich.

I somehow misinterpreted this post completely. Was about to go get me a glass of wine.. Glad I read it first, drinking at this hour is probably not that great of an idea...
Wait no, now I read the title. Thats what it says. Ahhhh. Stop playing with my mind.

Personally I prefer a nice pint of strawberry cider.

Also, noting the recurrence of the women only go for rich guys theme again. Not true.

I have seen statistical evidence to say the contrary is true on average, don't ask me to get a url as it was on news radio or some bollocks.

This doesn't mean flashing your cash or fancy house at a woman is what makes them love you. I'm talking about the resources to woo. gifts, dinner, trips in the country and generally being swept off your feet can't be done with no money.

See, I can only shrug my shoulders at these kinds of threads ("this is what women want!"), because nothing said in them rings true to my experience at all (not mine and not the women I know and have known). And I'm a woman, so I'd like to think that my actual experience counts for more than your anecdotal, observational experience.

Or maybe that's just crazy talk.

I think I'll stick to not being whiny and deal with loneliness on my own.

I don't want someone that will go for me for doing something that's out of character for me.

If so, easy to say that when you are married.

Being tolerated feels horrible. I'd rather be single.

I don't see the link to it really, basing it on a few girls with AS I've known. The needy whiney ones tend to send men flying away.

My experience was always quite the opposite, the needy whiny girls usually keep whining till they get someone within months. After that, they stop whining all of the sudden. Their guys are the best (since they save the rest of the word from their whining)!
