Josh Hartnett was apparently a key person who helped see this movie made and finished. However, the producers fired the director and re-edited some scenes. Hartnett is protesting this by not promoting the film at all. Thus, it hasn't found a distributor in the US.

How can you remove the region code?

You can play any region DVDs on your computer because there is no region blocks in them. Someone told me computer companies don't put them in is because they import them to other countries.

If you copy DVDs and reburn them, you can use software to "strip out" the region code. Therefore if you buy a bootleg DVD, the region code will often be stripped out.

Some computers still have region coding. For example, Macintoshes allow you to choose which region you are in the first time you play a DVD, and after you've played 5 DVDs, it "locks in" that region code.

I don't know what the rules are about saying things like this, but you can find the movie using BitTorrent. That's how I saw it.

Generally theres a mysterious equation involved in determining whether the person will be upset or happy you cleaned for them.

The amount of clutter versus amount of personal belongings involved plus the type of cleaning (surface or straightening up) all have to be factored in.

So in the case of the car being cleaned for a friend the outside would be fine no matter the circumstances, the inside will be ok so long as they arent using it for storage of important items/materials (people who work out of their vehicles), dont store more than one or two personal belongings in the vehicle and those are not of a particularly embarassing nature (pornography, underwear, etc).

I think Ill look around for that movie when I get home.

I saw this movie.
It was pretty good, I liked the characterizations of the characters.
The story was pretty boring. All they did was fall in love and out of love.
And in love and out of love, lol. If it wasn't for the Aspie characters I would have never watched it. It's the kind of movie I would normally hate.

I liked it when the girl had a meltdown over the sound of the clanking metal, that's something I would do. I liked it when she said "Call me " and he said "when?" , thats something I might do too. All in all it was good to see, the first half was much better than the second half though. N ow I want to see Normal People Scare Me.

I would have run because I wouldn't want to put on a scene. Not just curl up in a ball and cry and rock back and forth.

Didn't Dreamworks originally buy the rights to MatW? And Sony seems to be releasing the DVD, so why couldn't they give it a decent theatrical release?

I want to see this film but my DVD player only supports Region 1 and the Bittorent file of it I downloaded didn't have any sound for some reason. I guess I'll just wait until Chanukah for the Region 1 DVD unless it gets uploaded on Youtube.

You can watch it on your computer if you have a power DVD on it or any other program that will play DVDs.

Is Bittorrent a program for downloading movies? Is it available online? Is it free? Are the movies free?

I thought computer DVD players have region codes on them too. I think mine does though I am allowed to change it up to five times. I don't want to change it just to watch the movie and change it back and use up 2 of my five times.

The trick to computer DVDs is to not play them through the hardware.. rip an image of the disk onto your hard drive then play it through an emulation program like deamon tools in powerdvd or windows media player with the dvd codecs installed.

But thats all advanced stuff that I wouldnt recommend fighting with if your not very good with a computer it can get frustrating.

Not everyone can run fast enough.

I screamed and jumped under a table and made loud noises a couple days ago because someone I was talking to was smacking his lips. Absolutely no planning possible for that.

Me too. Sounds make me really upset, but not as upset as a whole crowd of people staring at me and wondering WTF is wrong with me. Then they all close in on you and try to touch you to "comfort" you and....AGH!

You're probably just missing some codecs. I would recommend installing DefilerPak and trying to watch it again (assuming you still have it) . You can get DefilerPak here:
http://hellninjacommando.com/defilerpak/

It's just a bunch of common codecs all put into one convenient package. It's got no spyware or evil stuff, I promise.

Unless you're on a Mac. Are you on a Mac?

BitTorrent is file-sharing software. It is free, and it is actually made by another Aspie! Technically, everything on it is free, but not necessarily legal.

I too got a region 4 DVD except mine came from Marbecks in New Zealand. It certainly made me feel more normal in comparison :!:

Wouldn't be the type of movie I would watch if it didn't have the Aspie angle in it.
