I like Dolphin. They are from Russia.

There's a good Russian heavy metal band called Aria that I like. Subway to Sally from Germany is great too. Misanthrope, a progressive/death metal band, does some of their songs in French. There's several good metal groups from Scandinavia that have songs in their native languages, like Moonsorrow from Finland and Tyr from the Faroe Islands.

well, seems no one answered that, it's from Neon Genesis Evangelion, a very very cool anime (except for the last chapters)


I listen to a lot of foreign music, but the most different is Muzsikas, very nice traditional Hungarian folk music, quite soothing

I'm on the German side, mainly. No one mentioned Eisbrecher, a totally awsome German metal/techno/dance band.

Also, Nightwish does a few songs in I-forget-what-language. "Kuolema Tekee Taiteilijan" is a really good song.

I think he meant One Winged Angel, the final boss's theme song from Final Fantasy VII. Nobuo's a genious... speaking of which, I feel really bad now that he's leaving, and I can only hope the new guns are just as awesome. I know the FF XII OST is pretty good. Sakimoto tends to do a pretty good job, but he'd only done Tactics before now. Oh well, as long as the stuff is good, I'll keep listening to it!

Also, no one's mentioned Rip Slyme! It's the only rap I can really get into, since it's in Japanese and they use more than a synth and some drums. Down with Gangsta Rap!
