Surely there has to be a better way then exchanging spit? 8O Humans shock me...

It's the best way for you to detect MHC.

Quote:
MHC is present in both pheromones and saliva, meaning that to really detect whether a partner is suitable, one must be in close proximity (to smell the MHC), and there must be an exchange in saliva (to taste the MHC). Now, what usually happens when these two events are placed together? That's right, ladies and gentlemen -- the kiss is in fact a goddamn taste test. We've adapted the behavior to make sure we find someone with whom our chemicals match up.

Humans can do shocking things.

Take Hitler, for example.

True but I can't help but imagine what it was like the first time things happen/where in evolution we started it.
Maybe it went like this:
"Oh hey there! I like you, may we exchange some spit to show our love?"
"Oh sure! Nothing as cute as spit exchange!"

Or maybe it was:
"I love you,"
"Really!? How does this spit taste?"

I've never kissed anyone; therefore I have have no idea if I would like it or not. I'm sure I"ll be too old for this forum before my first kiss. XD

I haven't been kissed yet. I haven't even held hands with an unrelated male (I've been hugged by platonic guy friends, though). But I have a feeling that I'd enjoy kissing, once I find the right person (with my life it'll be about 50 years from now). D:

I've never kissed anyone or been kissed before. I imagine I'll like it though.

Yes, I'm almost 18 and I've never been kissed. Live with it.

Beside formal kisses with parents, relatives and friends(that quick peck on the cheek), I've never kissed anyone yet :silent:

It depends. With my girlfriend it's fine, in fact, I like it quite a lot. If I'm expected to give someone (say a family member) a kiss on the cheek as a greeting or some such gesture, I really dislike that.

Firstly Im not worried about the germs I just think of the guy is healthy its unlikely he will give me anything life threatening.
I had my first kiss a few weeks ago and was disappointed. I thought it would be amazing but it was just wet and confusing feeling his lips moving against mine. I read that kissing by pressing your lips against the other persons is a good way to kiss but it doesnt do much for me,I was left thinking it would be more intimate than it was. On about my tenth kiss the guy asked if I wanted to try kissing with tongues I said yes because I thought it cant be any worse than without tongues. When we tried it was more like what I imagined a kiss to be like him putting his tongue in my mouth felt sexual in some odd way and I kind of enjoyed it. I still dont get why you would press slightly parted lips onto someone elses though.

Did you really like the man though? Did you really feel that connection with him?
