I feel a really strong connection or something between me and my lab partner. Takes me like 3 hours to get out of the mood. Is this love? I think about her a lot too. Hopefully she doesn't pick up on this one guy who was talking to her today. He is going towards the same degree as her. as*hole. He is older so hopefully I have the advantage. and I'm quite the stud so odds I win and he loses.

No, that's not love, it's an unhealthy obsession. I doubt this thread is serious but regardless.

I'm deadly serious. I am one to think people are in the same mood as me so it works out in my favor. The mood shifted in the lab room it seemed when my mood shifted. Maybe it was peak hour.

Sounds like extreme infatuation imo. Just take a breather and try to take a step back and evaluate the situation. It seems like this other guy liking her is also fueling some kind of jealous desire you have. That is never healthy in my opinion.

This sucks. It seems any kind of relationship can never be healthy but I will take the advice and quite.

disclaimer: I don't know jack about relationships or dating.

1. the one thing that is certain is that you're interested in her.

2. and it sounds like it's time to make a move, and get to know her better.

3 the "connection" thing can be tricky/misleading -- it can be the result of imagination greatly magnifying something that is actually very small. But the remedy for that is to actually get to know her.
