dunno if this fits because i was too lazy to listen to your song. but i always find this song very sad and bittersweet. hope, unfullfilled dreams, humdrum life, wistful memories. It's so realistic

The finale from Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake. I have a hard time stopping tears from welling up in my eyes. Its so melodramatic but so beautiful! Also a lot of Claude Debussy's music is bittersweet to me, i.e. Claire de Lune. Also, the main theme from The Land Before Time. Children's movie it may be, but the score by James Horner is fantastic.
