another suggestion, is to try the yucky-tasting food diet- that is where you eat only raw grubs and nuts and veggies, with no salt or sugar or other condiments or even any spices to leaven the taste. you are guaranteed to lose weight on this diet, as long as you don't sneak off in the middle of the night to go raid your hidden stash of twinkies :wink:

better is unrefined salt which has not been stripped of things like magnesium, potassium and the like.

I think the best ways to rev up your metabolism are to exercise first thing in the morning,eat lots of small meals instead of three huge ones (or substitute a coffee for a skipped breakfast), and to get up and move a bit each hour if you sit a lot all day.I personally usually have fruits or juices in the morning,a vegetable salad lunch,snack of raw grain/nut/fruit bar or fruits in the afternoon,and a green juice with another salad at dinner.When I'm not commuting I have the green juice too with lunch.
Raw is the key! mental clarity,wonderfully functioning body and happiness come with it!
