Oh, my god, Michael and Matthew! I swear, it seems that every other white guy I encounter is either named Michael or Matthew. They're probably the two most ubiquitous male names within my generation.

As for girls, Ashley, hands down. It's the "Heather" of Generation Y.

There was someone in my high-school class who was also named Nicholas & his last name sounded almost the same as mine to. He wasn't in most of my classes so there wasn't much confusion. My dad told me that there was a kid in school with him who had the same 1st & last name my dad had. They would both go to the office whenever the name was paged & they both hoped it was for the other Frank.

There was a Nicholas hired on at WalMart as an unloader when I worked there who didn't stay long at all because he a clown. A manager was talking to him 1ce when I was in receiving with him & he ignored the manager & when the manager called him on it he said~ "I thought you were talking to other Nick". Manager then said~ "Nick on floor crew; get out of here" then he yelled~ "Nick unloader." & he started fussing at him. As I passed the lunge/break room rite after an employee asked if the manager was mad at me & I said~ "Nick unloader" & employee said~ "didn't think manager would be mad at you".

In my junior high/high school there were 5 other Megan/Meggin/Meghan's. And it was a small school too, I think about 150 total in the high school. So 4% of the students at my high school were named Megan/Meggin/Meghan lol. And I'm still best friends with one of them. It's always funny listening to our moms talk on the phone, "well your Meggin said...." "and my Megan said...." lol. We have lots of fun confusing people :D In my mom's high school (which was HUGE, thousands of students) there were 3 other people with the same first and last name as her, and two of them even had the same middle name. I know lots of people with the same name. Kandyce/Kandace, 4 Jon/John/Johnny's, 3 or 4 Kayla's, 4 Tyler's, 5 Ashley's, 3 Kody/Cody/Coty's, 5 Elizabeth's, 2 Heather's (one is primarily my friend and the other was one of my best friends' roommate last year, so we refer to them as "my Heather" and "Kandyce's Heather" lol), 4 Chris/Kris's, 2 Lindsey's, 5 Rachel/Rachael's (3 of which were also in high school with me), and 5 Sara/Sarah's.

There are two brothers that live down the street, and they are both named this. 8O

As for girl names, I think Scappoose has at lease 30 Hannah's (my sister included).

I know a ton of Jennifer's. Lots of people of both genders named Chris or Kris, too.
