Fiction-wise, I find that I enjoy teen fiction a lot.

Non-fiction-wise, I like reading encyclopedias, dictionaries, textbooks, almanacs, and trivia books.

It's still the best book I've read to this date.

Anything that isn't fiction I can find interesting.
I don't like fiction, I feel like I am reading lies.

I prefer fiction because it feels more real to me than nonfiction. Fiction is always written in earnest, but with nonfcition, I often feel like I'm not getting the total truth, due to bias or lack of research or simply the corrupting influence of the telephone game.

My favorites have been the "Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy" series, and the Sherlock Holmes canon. I am currently enjoying P.G. Wodehouse, especially the "Jeeves and Wooster" series.

I like reading books about physics, mathematics, computer science, alternate histories, cognitive neuroscience, Singularities, and zombies. And everything else.

My favorite authors are probably Donald Knuth, Douglas Adams, Terry Pratchett, Lemony Snicket, Greg Egan, Philip K. Dick, Victor Hugo, and Brian Lumley. I can't be sure because while typing each name I thought of several others I could add but then realized that past a certain length such a list becomes silly and, in fact, vitiates itself.

I wish I read more. I used to read all the time now, but the internet has corrupted my mind and I rarely read.
But sci fi is just plain awesome to read :D

I've never read a fiction book before. They bore me.. They are just words on pages to me, i can't get myself involved in the story.

My bookshelf consists of encyclopaedias (Mainly on parapsychology or nature) , Guinness book of records and Top 10 of Everything books. I love my statistics :)
