I am 20 years old and diagnosed with aspurgers from age 16
I have also come to terms with my being "bi-sexual", however i am unsure as to wether this is a totaly seperate thing from aspurgers or if i just am (because of asps) missing the part of my brain that is supposed to determine physical sexual attraction, pertaining usally to the aspect of sexual contact. i have no feelings towards men in the slightest nor have i ever so i am wondering if this is just my physical obbsession with sex and sex acts superseeding my natural appeal of women as mates and partners.

in essance i am asking if other aspies have had homo-sexual experiances for the sake of just getting off as apposed to an attraction to the same sex, and if so, do you feel this is an aspect caused by aspurgers.

MY POLL IS FOR PEOPLE DIAGNOSED WITH AN AUTISTIC SPECTRUM DISORDER ONLY PLEASE.

Definitely don't find same sex attractive, definitely do find opposite sex attractive. The only thing I've found influenced by AS is my ability to meet and attract anyone, since I don't play the socially assigned female role well enough, nor do I want to, and I have the usual socializing problems, as well.

I hope I'm eligible for your poll, since I'm self-diagnosed, although my therp agrees with me.

I'd say I'm bisexual if I had to choose only one of those three options. I am more correctly - sexual with the person or people I am in love with whether male or female. How about a philosexual (sex with people you love) option or at least a fideresexual (sex with people you trust) option, LOL?

I do have a slight attraction to men, but I am attracted far more to women, and would never want to be with a man in a relationship, nor would I want to have sex with a man, an idea that horrifies me. For this reason, I consider myself straight. I have been told in psychology school that sexual preference is actually a spectrum. It is believed that very few people are all the way on the straight edge of the spectrum, so this would mean there's nothing unusual about this.

I find myself attracted to women and I also like men too so I see myself as bi. Took me awhile to admit it and accept it's me.

If there are more of us than NTs who are bisexual or gay, it's probably because we're more honest to ourselves.

Bang on straight. I mean really, that's probably the only thing about me that's normal, apart from me having eight fingers and two thumbs, two eyes, two ears, a nose with two nostrils, two arms, two hands, two legs with two feet that have ten toes each and I have hair.

Not really sure. Maybe asexual or bisexual-leaning-towards-men (which would make me more straight).
I know it's kind of weird to be between "loves no one" and "loves all", but I'm still not sure what the meaning of "sexual attraction" is. Could anyone explain that to me?

Sexual attraction is when you want to have sex with somebody because they are nice looking, kind, have a sexy attitude etc.

So whenever non-asexual people look at people that are "nice looking, kind, have a sexy attitude" they want to have sex with them? I used to have a crush on this guy but I just wanted to spend time with him and talk to him.

But if you didn't even think of having sex with him, I would call him a friend, not someone that you had "a crush" on.
