House Republicans are calling for a special counsel to determine whether Attorney General Eric Holder misled Congress during his testimony to the House Judiciary Committee on Operation Fast and Furious, Fox News has learned.

The scandal has now spread to the Attorney General himself.

Actually, Obama refusing to let congress conduct an investigation could be considered Obstruction of Justice and he could get himself impeached over that.

It is a request, but Obama denying the request would look really bad.

Considering there is evidence that Holder was receiving briefings about Fast & Furious when he told congress that he had no knowledge of it, and you're saying it shouldn't be investigated?

I'm not saying that it should not be investigated. I am saying that any generic request does not have to be honored.

Orders and subpoenas, on the other hand...
