i like reading about linguistic history, outside of that it is depressing reading about how much humans have progressively destroyed the world, and each other.

medieval period...not to my taste either. not the european medieval anyway, it is a huge source of fuel for movies and childrens shows that aren't and weren't to my liking.

I realise how much I loved history one years ago, I wasn't feeling to good and being able to view the past, in order to imagine other story helped (and still help) me to feel better.

I always loved history, but that's only at this time that I realise that it was what I truly loved to do (and not science like I was thinking at the time)
