Well, if money grew on trees, I'd agree with you. But, unfortunately, not everyone has thousands of dollars to spend on SSDs, keyboards with LEDs, and multiple monitors.

Benq GP1 (LED projector) = ~$350 * 2.
ATI 5xxx series card = ~$100.
SSD = ~$150.
--------------------
Total: = ~$950, not even a thousand dollars.

And you asked about what our 3 favourite things we love are, not "what are the cheapest items that i can buy"?

Errr - that was me who asked about 3 fav things (sowlowsolo)
I'm not responsible for the money comment though.

My phone - it has all ~410 songs I have on it, and I love listening to music.

This labtop - It allows me to message a certain someone, and it also aids me in procrastinating. And reading fanfiction.

Aaaaaand... Hmm. What else? Oh! My diary! It helps to be able to write my feelings down, and knowing I can go back later and remember everything from that time is a nice feeling.

My number one favorite object has got to be my pillow. Ever since I was a toddler I've had a pillow with a very soft pillowcase that I pretty much always have with me (when I am at home at least) and I just love feeling the end of the pillowcase in my fingers. The actual pillow and case itself has changed over time (eventually, they fall apart from age and me constantly rubbing them) but I have always had one.

1. My PlayStation 3 of course. ;)
2. My computer.
3. My iPod.

If I had to choose a fourth, it would be food. Then my life would be complete. (sort of) :D

My laptop, because without it I wouldn't be able to talk to my boyfriend or my long distance friends.
My MP3 player because listening to music on the way to college helps me with anxiety and motion sickness.
My favourite outfit because it's comfortable.

This is incredibly difficult for me because there are so many things I have that mean a lot to me---not only things pertaining to special intense interests, but also things that family has given to me. But...let me name three things off the top of my head.

1. Original set of blueprints for a roller coaster that was never built. It was to be built in 1928, but the plans for the park's expansion failed. The roller coaster was to be one of the most thrilling ever built. And I have the only blueprint of it in existence. It was designed by the legendary Harry Baker who built the Coney Island Cyclone.

2. My hammered dulcimer built by Folkcraft. They no longer make this large hammered dulcimer, and not to many were made to begin with of the model I have. I use it a lot in my dulcimer ministry.

3. My vintage Hammond A-102 organ with vintage Leslie speaker. I play this often, and it brings me much joy.

My Cachet deck, the crochet hook I use most, and my laptop.

Wow how did you manage to get that?

Myself:

1. VJ Surfboard... i have a love-hate relationship with it... but generally it brings me happiness...
2. The Subaru... It holds my surfboards and skateboard and alot of misc without sacrificing the comfort of driving it... and i like solitary driving... especially if im exploring places to surf or skate...
3. I would have said my computer before yesterday... now its broken... so i guess ill say the skateboard... i dont use it all that much but its super fun to cruise around on when theres no waves...

Three Discrete Objects, things I could actually grab if a fire started
- Gund polar bear that was baby shower gift before I was born (he has a name but I don't want to use it on the internet so that his identity remains protected)
- small photo album that I made sure has pictures of everyone in my family in it
- binder with a bunch of drawings and writings I did and other people sent me from the time I was really little to age 18ish

If I were to consolidate the photo album and binder, I'd make the third item my musical keyboard, which is the thing I really could not do without on a daily basis, but it's also replaceable
