So they think she was doing some viking dyking.

Did that guy eat himself to death on purpose, like a parody on Ghandi?

Well thank you buddy for your advice...

Yes, at least in the past our kings used to be pretty cool. The king that conquered my home province from Norway was actually one of the first marijuana smokers in Sweden, probably the first one. Another king ate himself to death on cray fish and filled buns. Charles XII of Sweden was killed by a bullet through his head when he was trying to conquer Norway. He was embalmed in my home town. 8)

Ah.

Sounds as sane as any European royal family...

Not one purpose, I think, they usually had 100 dishes or so at that time when they were royal or noblesse (I'm not joking!), so he just ate and ate and the last two dishes were cray fish and filled buns (cream and almond paste) and died of indigestion...

Sure. Nowadays it's mostly known that the king and his younger daughter princess Madeleine drive like maniacs and probably take drugs. They're also known to be somewhat ehm...promiscuos. The queen, crown princess and the prince are more modest or at least more discreet. The royal family still stands above the law, so they can do all these stuff without risk of getting sued.

Here's a picture of a statue of Charles X Gustaf in my home town, on the horse. His adviser, Erik Dahlberg, is standing next to him. The yellow house in the background is the old town hall. A little bit behind it, outside the picture, in a house that doesn't exist any more, Charles XII was embalmed after being killed in Norway.

Scapheap, by the way, I've done some research about your Carl Gustav Mauser and I've found out that it was made by the German company Mauser in cooperation with a Swedish armory in Eskilstuna south of Stockholm and that it's considered to be one of the best rifles in the world of that caliber. 8)

Yes' the Sweede Mauser is a beatifull and elegant piece of work. Almost too nice to give to soldiers.

I knew a bit of the history of these guns, I just did'nt know who Carl Gustaf was.

Some of the Sweedeish Mausers were made by Husquavarna. They're stamped accordingly and they have a bent bolt handle. They're just as nice
