Sonic the Hedgehog video games. A few smaller interests stemmed from that, Babylon, birds (I just love how the rank system here is based on them), and wings are what I can think of.

The main one is tardigrades. Those are microscopic animals who can survive a lot of amazing things. Others are ethology (the study of how animals behave in their natural environment), conservation biology, ecology, Harry Potter, and fantasy books in general.
