Just a little experimental poll, I have no idea how the results will turn out. This was inspired by a topic in adult discussion.

Summary explanation: I am suspecting there might be some correlation between women self diagnosing themselves and them being in an abusive/unhealthy relationship (or just coming out of one).

I made my self-diagnosis when I was 13, so none of the options are really relevant for that.

However, I got my official diagnosis while in the healing period for reactive depression after I had 3 grandparents die within a period of 8 months during which I had an emotionally abusive roommate. (But in a healthy romantic relationship)

I picked the last one. Mostly because I have only been in 1 relationship, have immense trouble being organized, troubles in work / school although I am incredibly intelligent, make a lot of bad decisions, off and on depression

The stress of being in an unhealthy relationship really exacerbated my "aspie" traits and then it hit me...

I couldn't vote.
I started noticing things about AS a few months ago. I am in a long-term relationship (2yrs+). We have bumps and dips like any relationship, but in general I am happy.
