Gingrich actually has a record of balancing the Federal Budget and Herman Cain has actually ran successful businesses.


You should know well enough by now that a candidate's track record bears absolutely no relevance to electoral success. It is of no value to be the, "smartest guy in the room," because that does not translate into votes.

The attention span of contemporary voters can be measured in nanosec.... ooh, shiny!

The real way of winning the race and getting something you want
is to pick someone as close to the edge of the other party as you are comfortable with.
Hence the Momos (Hunstsman and Romney).
and also if you think about it (and are not a crazy partisan) Obama, Clinton and Biden.

Huntsman would do a good job i think - he's a mormon so he's a secret socialist - I just don't see how he'd get the nomination.
