I've enjoyed being a loner mainly because I was never completely alone: I always had family to rely on when I needed help, protection or just a little human warmth. At this point in my life I realize that family doesn't last forever: family members die, and because I have failed to form strong relationships outside of my original family, I'll soon be completely alone for real. It's not a pleasant prospect.

This is what I've had on my mind, who's going to be there after my family is gone. I have no siblings, and don't want children so I'll be the only one left.

-You can be as whacky as you want, since there would be nobody around to care.
-You have loads of breathing space and time to reflect.
-Less anxiety issues.
-You can stim as much and for as long as you want.
-You can sing and dance to music, and listen to whatever you want
-You can be creative.
-You're often happier.
-You can buy stuff you want to buy.
-Nobody to care if you break a social rule.
-Nobody to stop you doing things in the way you like to do them.
-You can drink milk from the carton.
-You can decorate your house the way you want to decorate it.
-You can dress as whackily as you choose.
-You can spend your day just chilling out and not worrying about things.

Ups: You can do anything you want without people moaning at you.

Downs: You get the creeps being in certain places alone.
