To this day I do not have a clue what was going on in it.

americathon- very au courant, considering our nation's woes
the long trailer- desi arnez/lucille ball, sorta disaster express
the big bus- about a nuclear-powered luxury bus driven by a cannibal not named hannibal
kiss me, stupid!-corny and vulgar all at once
christine-evil car just needed the right kind of love
shock treatment- banal but somewhat musical
kansas city bomber- melodramatic 70s women's lib tale of a sort

Also this isn't really a movie, but I love the show Deadly Women.

It's a crime documentary about some of the world's most infamous female killers and for the most part it's a very intelligent show, but the reinactments of the crimes are so laughably terrible. The show is made in Australlia and even though a lot of the episodes are about cases that happened in the US most of the actors are Australlians trying to do American accents which sound terrible. Sometimes there's some really bad acting (for example seeing a victim who's supposed to be dead on the ground move slightly), and many times the people talking about the crimes will contradict what's going on in the reinactments.

So I watch this show both for the educational value and because it's hilarious and addictive seeing the cheesey movie-like reinactments of real crimes. :P

Mommy Dearest is spectacularly bad. I think it effectively ended Faye Dunaway's career. I still like to go around and yell "Wire hangers! Wire hangers!"

Slacker

No plot to keep track of
No recurring characters to remember
No professional actors

Just stereotypes of all the crazies you run into wandering the streets of a college town in the dead of summer

Slacker is an absolute classic! I love that movie.
A friend and I rented it the first time I saw it. It was so insane, about 3/4 of the way through, I paused the movie and just started laughing hysterically for 10 solid minutes.
It's one of the most creative and brilliant pieces of film making I have ever seen.

Another favorite guilty pleasure of mine is "Beavis and Butthead do America"
I actually had called in sick to work and saw the 10am showing the day it came out.
