I'm a mutt but I too have some Irish in me. But with over 600 ancestors traced on my family tree, I'll have to search to see where from. I believe it may be Cork as well.

I'm not sure the last two responses from "Irish-Americans" are that helpful regarding the query of the OP which I assume was taking about any WP Aspies living in Ireland.

Both my parents were Irish though I was born in Scotland. I lived in Donegal for short periods over the years and sometimes I toy with the idea of getting a dual passport. I have no interest in tractors though my brother who was born in Ireland worked in a tractor-making factory for 15 years (Catepillar Glasgow).

Not Irish but living in Ireland. If you want to know where, Private message me, as I don;t want to say in a public thread. :)

I'm 1/2 Irish and !/2 German just 3rd generation in the states on both sides of my family I've been unable to trace my Irish grandpa's side due to poor record keeping. My dad spent years trying ! He did find 100's of cousins on my grandmas side. He even found people living in the same town that had no idea they were related. Yes it was one of his obsessions!
