I guess all I "need" from a girl is understanding and honesty.


I've been too urgent in an active search for a partner all my life, which led to me to create such attributes in girls that could never trust me, or believe in me, I've even chose girls that have serious problems with themselves.

I realised if I can be happy alone, then its a beautiful thing to meet someone and for them to love me, whether they understand exactly what I believe or feel is irrelavent, its that they simply understand I'm not expecting anything of them, I don't want the standard "girlfriend" type. I simply want a girl who I always know is there, but doesn't have to be around physically... We can just come in and out of each others lives regularly, knowing each other is always there, but not having to state it constantly in a needy battle of wills.

Should it happen I will be joyous, should it not happen, I will be alone, and joyous!

Has to be about 5'5-5'9 (about my height)
Slim
Doesn't smoke/drink/do drugs
Acts geeky/cute (sort of like me preferably)
Thinks people = idiots
Kinda like a robot
"Open minded"
Pragmatic
Apathetic
Un-emotional
Expresses "like" for me.

Looking for a female. Height: shorter than me. Weight: at least average but not obese. Intellect: at least an above-average intellect. At least some college. Personality: sensitive and a realistic view of the world. Feminine. Must not enjoy softball or wrestling or wearing jerseys and sports clothes all the time. Must not enjoy guzzling beer and getting drunk every weekend and vomiting on my car. Must not enjoy NASCAR. Must not have an overtly "Southern" personality. Must be able to enjoy dates that appear inexpensive even though they are monetarily expensive to me.

Ok, if we're going down the "shopping list" route...

Interesting, funny, and sometimes tangential
Intellectually curious
Long, dark hair, preferably straight
Blue or green eyes, especially if accompanied by slightly too much eyeliner :wink:
MUST like similar music (indie / rock / punk / stoner / grunge)
Relatively independent
Cute smile
Tolerant enough to put up with me
Not so perfect that I'll be constantly afraid she'll leave me for someone better
At least slightly curvy: a proper woman, not a stick!
Caring, sensitive, and with a good sense of morality

Not that I'm idealistic or anything.....
