Well actually I found out about this on facebook on the Occupy Denver page.......I don't think it made it onto the regular newspapers or into the mainstream media. Yeah to get information about this you can't rely on the mass media. The ticketing thing is another issue........not sure if that arose before or after this incident occured they threw away the food donations at about 1:00 am 11/21/2011......not sure when that article you posted was published so I am not sure which one occured first. Its possible they are now allowing more donations or something.
that article did not really say a lot.
that article did not really say a lot.
I suspect that if there was any substance to this story one of the more progressive news outlets would have picked up on it by now. So while I am not going to dismiss the facebook reports out of hand, I am going to withhold my disgust until I see some sort of corroboration.
This is a sensible response. I have watched over the thread for a short time and have tried to understand the context. No point jumping the gun just yet. There may be people in Occupy who might be willing to tell a fib or two. But then again we might be proven wrong.
Well there are people in every group who tell lies.....but I am going down there soon, so I plan to see what I can find out.

Even better!
When a house is illegally foreclosed upon the entire family does not usually become homeless but there is tremendous pressure from judgemental extended family members who give advice to the wife that she should divorce her deadbeat husband who will probably end up becoming homeless if he cannot find a job and nobody will take him in.

A hypothetical that I would add the qualifier of sometimes to. Although it's quite credible I guess. Then again I have no idea about foreclosure except that the bank now owns the property.
