I don't really listen to music but I have about 5 YouTube music videos that I watch over and over again every evening, pacing around the room with headphones on. I've been stuck on the same videos for months now. Oh dear.

Oh I do this a lot! I'm massively in to music and have a very wide taste in music which seems to confuse people for some reason!?!

I have 3 cd's in my other half's car my lady gaga mix, P!nk mix and a favorite songs of the moment mix. I drive my poor girlfriend insane playing the same 3 cd's over and over in the car!

I've got a particular playlist of songs I listen to over and over on my iphone just about everyday and I never get bored or fed up of them, I will occasionally swap and change songs just for a change!

I have even gone and seen P!nk live 3 times in a year to the same concert and have it on dvd which I watch all the time!! I would of gone to every date on her tour if I could lol.

Oh god, I do it all the time.

I've been latched on to Black Veil Brides "Rebel Love Song" for the past week and a half:

Before that, it was Avenged Sevenfold "Welcome to the Family" (also for about 2 weeks):

Oh, and just to fit in with the common theme here... I had a really bad Lady Gaga fetish that started with "Judas" on Mother's Day, drifted into a dance remix of "Telephone" ~2 weeks later, and peaked with "Blaze of Glory" right after the 4th of July. Then I got kind of burned out on Lady Gaga, and drifted back into metal.

Going back further, I latched on to Rise Against "Life Less Frightening" really, really hard about a year ago. This one lasted for almost a month:

I do this, With one song or an entire cd of songs I will listen to for over a month or so, then burn out.

However I notice some songs are almost impossible to burn out on, these are my favorites.

People have told me that I need to listen to something else now and then, or that they can never hear that one song again, thanks to me.

I love that song. Some say the singing is whiny but I admire him for being able to go that high.

Meanwhile I cannot stop listening to Fairytale of New York by The Pogues. :)

Hello, nice to meet y'all. I live faraway. Yes of course, I listen to the same song thousands of times.
I wear the same clothes every day. (I bought 7 of each, one for each day of the week)
It's hard to 'read' people's intentions: I think my bf cheats on me and i hunt down the 'evidence'(without much success).
I think he wants to kill me cause he already tried once. That's why we live 5,000 mi apart

They 'say' I am bipolar but I think I am not. The shrink has no idea what is cooking in my head... mainly, nothing specific...

So, everyone is scared of me cause i loooke weird, act weird and say weird things. Looks like i landed on the Wrong Planet!

Good luck to all neurodiverse and other green crittures on this site. Namaste

Constantly. I mentioned a few times I've been on a real Weezer kick lately. I've been listening mostly to Weezer for the last week. I've tried to put other songs and bands on and it doesn't last long.

Give it another week or so and it'll be someone else. I've gone through it a lot-- a week of New Bomb Turks, a month of Stabbing Westward, 3 days of Guns N' Roses, a couple days of Van Halen, a week of just classical... and I really have no control over which band I'll be wanting to hear. It just strikes for a few days or a week, then disappears.

LOL - what I am rabidly doing this morning: Gogol Bordello: Sun is on My Side (acoustic). I think I have increased its viewership by a thousand hits a month since I discovered it in April

I do that too. I always have obsessions with a band or an artist and listen to their whole discography. And when I find a song that I really love, I'll listen to it repeatedly...

I first got into music at 7 years of age, when my father played a vinyl disc with Ravel's Bolero. I was entranced, learned how to use the record player and played the record repeatedly for days on end, until my aunt convinced me to listen to something else. Which I did, got into it again and went on listening to it, obsessively... The first song I listened on repeat, however, was Seaside Rendezvous by Queen, when I was 9 years old. I didn't want to listen to the whole album, I just listened to this one song again and again. For days and days, maybe even a few weeks, I don't remember, as I had an even worse notion of time back then than I do now. I drove my parents up the wall with this song, so they did their best to stop me from listening to it. They managed to for a while... but, 6 years later, I totally fell in love with the music of Queen (because of the same record) and then, there was no stopping anymore (although, this time, I listened to their whole catalogue)... I guess one can't really suppress a special interest, if it's meant to be...
