Well, my family and I adopted a cat over a week ago, a female we named Charlotte (middle name Alanis), and she is really starting to warm up to us and is very sweet by nature. Now that she is up and about more often, I have decided to expose her to various music types and artists that I know of. So far I have tried Sarah McLachlan and Alanis Morissette (for whom she was named), although I can't tell whether she likes or dislikes either musician (I have been keeping the volume particularly low for her, as I know cats can hear much better than humans). I plan on playing some Tori Amos, Celine Dion, Sheryl Crow, and several other musicians (I may even throw Classical into the mix), but I wanted to get some other opinions on this: Is it a bad idea or not?
