It is Holiday Season! Finally!.

As you all should know, the secular types care not about gifts, or chocolate or family dinner but about how to further remove Christianity out of our lives. That's the reason we started saying "Happy Holidays" or "Season's greetings" instead of "merry christmas". That's also the reason we use the word xmas sometimes. It is all part of a plan to remove Christ out of their Christmas.

Thus , as usual this year, I will be recruiting people for the war against Christmas. If you'd like to join, just change your avatar to a holiday themed one that does not say the word "Christ". It does not even have to be specifically "Happy holidays" or have text at all, just make sure not to include the word Christ, a cross or a halo.

Remember: Today Christmas, tomorrow the world!

Well, Christmas is actually a Pagan-origined holiday. If I'm not mistaking, wiccans and other neopagans already do something similar, by calling it differently. :D

For me it's all the same, since I don't celebrate it.

Hah! I've shot at that range, it's a sweet facility. Too bad the wife has objections to Arizona, between the sunshine and the gun laws it's always looked pretty good to me.

Christmas, Hanukkah, Winter Solstice, Kwanzaa, Happy New Year!

We're heading into the darkest months of the year for the Northern Hemisphere. I think the point of having any celebration is to create our own sunshine. Having any celebration in the Winter months will help break the monotony of the season and encourage better mental health - a little natural anti-depressant never hurt anyone.

I think it's unintelligent, selfish and counter productive to try to kill something for everyone because you have judged it as inappropriate.

Celebrate, Scrooge! Celebrate being alive!

Merry, merry!

Um, yeah for all I know a winter solstice celebration could go all the way back to Homo Erectus. Most people call it Christmas now, I see no reason to change things. If someone wants to call it Yuletide or Festivus or just "Happy Winter Solstice" I don't care. Why would anyone want to get rid of a season of peace on earth, good will towards men and a spirit of giving? Christmas isn't about Christ for a lot of people, It's more about Santa Claus, Father Christmas, family and charity. You can have that stuff without being religious, a lot of people do.

I guess I'll have to get out my "Merry Christmas, you got a problem with that?" t-shirt.

Love and joy come to you,
And to you your wassail too;
And God bless you and send you a Happy New Year
And God send you a Happy New Year.

Anybody offended by that sentiment needs to get their head examined.

You should have started recruiting in October.
Most of my Christmas shopping is already done.

I don't think Chanukah can be included here. It's not a winter solstice celebration. It's a time to celebrate facts that happened in this period. :)
