What exactly happens during a meltdown?

I think the meltdown scene in the movie "Adam" is pretty accurate.

axiety meltdowns - pace up and down, bang my head on the wall, rocking back and forth, pick my skin,
eat anything i can get my hands on, shake, can also cry, can yell at people and swear if they annoy me.if someone gets right in my face - i hit them and i feel quite sick as well.

Mine is also pure anger, sometimes rage to the point where I have punched a hole in my bedroom wall.

I try to be in control of my emotions, as once that Volcano blows, it ain't pretty.

I find it helps to find something else to think about.

One thing I find to be very true is that if you are in a lousy mood, you tend to attract negative people and situations.
