I'm aware that Optimus Primal is not really an incarnation as he is more of a decendent of the Generation 1 Optimus Prime. Also I'm aware the 3 Primes from Armada, Energon and Cybertron are possibly the same one but I never really watched those shows that much to notice, hell I don't think there really that good.

Beast Wars. Never really liked Mr. Optimus Prime on account of it being a boring/annoying character, but the Beast Wars series was very good.

I had no idea they were all supposed to be descendents or whatever. I just thought it was the regular characters in animal/insect form instead of automobiles.

What's the difference between "animated" and "generation 1"?

All I know is I like the one from the original cartoon in the 80's.

Animated Prime is basically Prime as a young leader, while the G1 Prime is Prime as the wise old leader he is now.

So, G1 prime is the one from the original TV series?

Eh, don't worry about it. We all know you meant to vote for G1 Prime.

He's my favourite as well. One of my all-time favourite cartoon characters, for that matter. I liked Primal from the Beast series, but to me, Primal didn't stand out as much among his crew as the original Prime did. I have to admit I haven't consistently watched Armada, Cybertron and Energon, but the character of Optimus seemed to be pretty close to G1 Prime.

I would also go for G1 Prime like everyone else but I gotta say I probably would also choose the Movie Prime and the Prime Prime at the same time. Peter Cullen voices all 3 versions and I think his voice sounds better coming from the movies and Prime. He could give an epic speech with Steve Jablonsky or Brian Tyler's music in the background that could sends chills through my skin. In the G1 cartoon he sounds more younger and starting out. He can give good speeches too but not the way he did later on in life.

I'm only doing characters from the tv shows and movies, no games, besides I've never played it.
