I didn't put the first one on the list because lets face we all love that one the most and the sequels are to some considered bad. Personally I think there pretty good but not as brilliant, but I can't decide which one I like the most. Which would you go for?

I'm going with DMC here. Sure it was inferior to the first one, but it still had some cool moments. I liked how Knightly's character outshown Bloom's in this one, but Bloom still had some interesting moments during the father/son interaction scenes. Evolving the purpose of the compass was a nice touch. The whole 3rd act just being one big fight scene which cooled down into an act of sacrifice was well done also.

AWE just came off as over the top to me. There were too many WTF moments, the visual effects seemed overdone, and most of the characters had become watered down with little to no room to grow. While I felt the Sparrow/Barbossa interactions were good in OST, there was a lot in that movie that I just felt was unnecessary. We didn't need another boy/girl story and for all the hype they put around Cruz's character, she just wasn't as developed as she should've been. I know she was pregnant at the time, but that's no excuse for weak character development.
