I think I might be doing this for New Year's for charity. Anyone done it before? What'd you think? Freezing water and I aren't that compatible.

I think I'd die. I can't stand cold water at all. The only way I would ever do that is if someone tied me up and threw me in against my will. I'm sure there must be some "warmer" charity events.

I tried walking barefoot in the snow to get the mail once. Nearly Died...Sooo Cooold...

I am okay with being outdoors when it is windy and cold from running outside in the winter and working outside in inclement weather previously. I really hate the thought of frigid water though, but I like to have unique experiences. I recall going white water rafting in the early spring while wearing a wet suit and going under. The ride back upstream was absolutely freezing. I'll see how it goes since I am usually impulsive about stuff like this.
