Looking to getting back into Metal. Any style would be good. I know AC/DC, Kiss, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden are on my list but i have no clue of any good bands that came out in the last decade. I like Dragonforce. I tend to lean more towards classic metal but some of the newer stuff now i am starting to get into. Dir en grey is one band i like now after seeing them in concert. Can anyone suggest any other Metal Bands?

Seventh Wonder is a progressive rock band from Sweden. They're relatively new, but still good. The three songs of theirs I believe to be the best are as follows...

I've seen AC/DC in concert 4 times
nothing beats the classic metal ! !

Pink Floyd, Rush, Led Zeppelin

Pantera, Nine Inch Nails , White Zombie , Marilyn Manson , Metallica , Korn , Slipknot, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit , Black Sabbath , Scorpions , Motörhead , Iron Maiden , Van Halen , Ozzy Osbourne , Quiet Riot, Ratt, Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard , Guns N' Roses , Jane's Addiction

Yea I know I'm not really "with the times"

Alestorm are a mixture of folk metal and "pirate metal" from Scotland, relatively new but so enjoyable and entertaining!

Evile are a 4-piece thrash metal band from Huddersfield in the UK, to the casual metal fan they may sound like a younger version of Slayer, but they are criminally underrated.

Swedish black metallers Watain might be a little too extreme for your ears, but their rip-roaring style of black metal is amazing.

Opeth mix progressive with death metal, check out their early stuff.

And gadge, hate to burst that bubble of yours, but Korn and Limp Bizkit are the worse case scenario of "poser" nu-metal rubbish.

I like Depeche Mode, Talking Heads, Green Day, Beatles, Gorillaz .....etc etc..also, so what ?

Bubble intact !
