Who else uses the bathroom as an excuse to take breaks? It always came in handy during school, or social events, or stranger's houses. I'd just go in there and soak up the "alone time", and rest briefly.

Yes I do that all the time.

The bathroom was great, until I had kids. Nothing is sacred.

I do that too. Bathrooms are a good place to get a short break from people and sensory information and be in peace and quiet (and usually dark) for a couple of minutes. I don't know what I'd do without bathrooms to retreat to.

Yes, particularly at parties.

Yes, the bathroom is a perfect get away. Unless there are a bunch of odors. But even then sometimes that's a better alternative.

When visiting my parents, it's my personal sanctuary. Back in high school I could just go into my room and lock the door to be sullen and enjoy my solitude, but now my parents would freak out and panic, so I have to settle for the bathroom.

I love my Tablet. If you take a laptop into the bathroom, people think you're weird. If you take your tablet into the bathroom, people just sigh and roll their eyes.

Strangely not me. I usually just get lost in thought, to the point where every thing going on around me is just white noise.

When I was a kid, the bathroom was my library, and the toilet was my armchair.
