The concept seems at first laughable, but maybe not so. We basically suck in these situations since the non verbal cues totally dominate here. Then again, we've also developed coping mechanisms, and I think we all know how to communicate. So instead of eye contact or body we can spend the time communicating in the way we know, speech mainly, while still having some physical (visual) input, since in the final analysis we are still craving the physical contact - we after all suffer from the lack thereof.

If you forced yourself to do eye contact until you could deal with it, and then kept forcing it until you liked and understood it, you could rule the world.

You guys both talking about different dating strategies like those girls are robots or programmed machines..When it's romance let your heart (or if this is lust-another unprogrammed limb) decide!!

Literally the only thing about speed dating that is a possitive is being in a room with people who want to date. Theres no cat mouse game going on. Other than that it is useless
