The concept seems at first laughable, but maybe not so. We basically suck in these situations since the non verbal cues totally dominate here. Then again, we've also developed coping mechanisms, and I think we all know how to communicate. So instead of eye contact or body we can spend the time communicating in the way we know, speech mainly, while still having some physical (visual) input, since in the final analysis we are still craving the physical contact - we after all suffer from the lack thereof.
