I got 17, apparently most people on the spectrum get around 20, which is considered low. It'd be interesting to see what other Aspies get :D

Not put this in Off the Wall because it's a bit more serious than the Blog Things quizzes.

I know I score as extreme systemizer on the EQ/SQ combination.

The score I could find was a 23 for EQ, 91 on SQ-R

I don't know that this is particularly a good "empathy" test so much as a test with empathy-related questions (some tenuously so) that autistic people tend to score low on. It makes no clear distinction between affective and cognitive empathy, for example, and some of the questions are too vague or otherwise problematic in ways I can't seem to explain this very moment.

Your score: 13
Didn't expect at all, while marking I actually thought I've improved since I previously took it..

I think this test is pretty lame though.

I'm odd. I got 48, above average, on EQ. I have a high SQ as well though.

I scored 12.

I care about people, it's just that what they think and feel is such a complete mystery to me that I tend to not involve myself with that very much. It leads to me always talking about myself, which doesn't make for strong friendships, usually. Unfortunately.

Whoa. I scored a 15. And I gave leeway for questions I wasn't sure I understood or wasn't sure how to answer.

I took it again just now and scored 11.

Of course, today I am in a somewhat irritable and argumentative mood for some reason.

I received a median score of 8 after changing a few things each test trial to accommodate for my subjective opinions of what qualifies as slightly agree/slightly disagree. Many of the questions I found myself wishing there was a neutral option.

Your score: 16
0 - 32 = low (most people with Asperger Syndrome or high-functioning autism score about 20)

Wow, and I thought I was maybe being a hypocondriac. Every test I take points in the Aspie direction. How could I have missed it for so long? Even on these boards I wonder if I should be here. Maybe I should be asking for advice and not giving it? But then for so long I thought I was so "wise". This forum is surely an eye opener.

Problem is, if you can function, how do you know where you are going wrong?

Meh, the test is designed poorly as it hard to track what options belong to what questions. Should have been spaced out a bit more or use subtle alternating colors for every second line.
