A genie pops out of a lamp and offers you two pills. The blue one makes you think and perceive the world like most people do, effectively "curing" you. The red pill doesn't change anything about you except that you now have limitless energy to spend on socializing, going places, doing stuff, and all that other life stuff. Which pill would you take? And no, you can't have both!

Now why did you choose that?

Maybe I didn't 'get' it, but wouldn't both pills have the same affect eventually?

No pill for me, thank you.

I'm happy with the way that I am. :)

I guess that depends on the person. For me, The size of my battery is not the same issue as how I interpret and perceive things. For example, the red pill may enable me to spend hours in a club or go to Target on black Friday, but would have no effect on my ability to communicate with my wife.

The blue pill would enable me to communicate with my wife better, and would make the battery problem sort of a non-issue at the same time... But the price to pay for that would be changing the way I think; changing the way I am. Changing me.

Oh and I chose the red pill. I like who I am, I just wouldn't mind having more juice to do more with. Spending 6 hours of charge time for 1 hour of playtime is a drag.

I'd want the red pill as well.

Red pill for sure. One of the main issues with my rare disease is that it causes extreme fatigue so a lot of the stuff I want to do, I can't because I just don't have the energy for it. I'd give anything to have boundless, endless amounts of energy.

Why couldn't I get a green pill? One that stops me from having migraines?

(Neither, I'm not interested in changing how I perceive the world or how I interact with people. The only one I'd want is to reduce the number of headaches I have)

Red pill FTW. I'd love unlimited energy to do everything ever. Basically, the red pill would be the "cure" for my NVLD, as I'd be able to actually do everything I think about and know how to do, but can't due to being like, human. so yeah, red pill.

Oh, isn't that one of those tricky questions, whichever you pick, you'll lose?

I guess I'd pick blue, at the moment, since I have a growing feeling that no one wants to recognize my issues the way they should, imo, and it aggravates me like hell, I cry about it too, like a whiny little girl (sorry). Someone should put this whole matter with me to end, or else...

The red pill, without a doubt. I'd not even touch the blue pill.

I'd have to look up accounts of people's experiences before making a decision.

I assumed it was a Matrix question and said red pill before reading the opening post. :P

Anyone else do that?
