Well, finally started recording raw segments of the song I am working on (purely instrumental, gonna be a long while til everything is done because I need to get my hands on a midi keyboard and a good drum machine/drum machine program.) Will post them as I get around to them, just remember, they are raw, so plenty of mistakes until I get more used to performing the riffs and such as well as the strums at the beginning due to using them as a makeshift metronome (yeah I can actually feel a rhythmic timing spot on). Also expect hesitations at times (Either due to latency of recording gear or due to me trying to get a new page of music up) Also nothing for this song is set in stone, so changes to structure and such will happen as needed.

Recordings

Main Rhythm Track (Work in progress, working on the major parts of it first) ----> http://snd.sc/xy7J6D

What's the Amp? Is this a POD or some other Modeler? Also, you might want to record the signal completely dry (No Reverb) and add Reverb in production.

Also, FWIW, you might want to look into a band called 'Tombs'.

Using amplitube 3 for it (A Custom preset I am working on at the same time I am working on this. I cannot afford a good amp + my actual amp is a bad choice for what I am doing simply due to interference I get from my power outlet. I also don't have a good selection of pedals at the moment.) . I can try it again with a dry mix (Sometimes I feel my guitar contributes towards it quite a bit as well. As stated its still going to be all adjusted for my tastes once I get more of it.)
