1st Anniversary!!

On this day, the 19th of January, last year, I joined this forum, feeling nervous about how to even talk to any of the members on here, and what you all would think of me and my suspicions of an ASD. But I soon learnt that most of you are very accepting people that aren't that different from me at all, and in this last year I have accumulated just over 4000 posts which I hope have been at least of some use to the people I directed them at. I have tried to make each one have a purpose and have put much thought into my views on here.

I have also managed to reveal my true identity to many of you, which was never my intention when I first joined, but I was made to feel so welcome that I let go of my anonymity to let some of you get to know me a bit better in the hope that I could get to know some of you better too and build friendships, which I feel I have succeeded with, especially the first person I approached properly here and showed my true self to originally. I think many of you will guess right that I mean MONKEY, as well as being my first ever girlfriend, she has proven to be the best person I have met in my life, and has taught me so much about love and friendship. I would never have thought I'd accomplish something like this when I joined.

Thankyou Cornflake, you were one of the very first on here to approach me, and I really appreciate that. You are a good friend of mine, even though you appear as nothing more than words on a screen. In that case, you must have made quite an impact.

Thanks. I remember it well, it lasted months and I always struggled to come up with new ideas without repeating myself or becoming stale. Y'know what? I think we may have to dig out that thread, as no-one seems to have carried it on. Such a shame as it was a very fun thread, I'd like to participate in it again. It's making me feel all nostalgic now.
