I was the child in constant refusal
From gatherings my family had to remove me
Never could i be the one who was disproven
Alone in a room i rock because it is soothing
At school everyday my desk i kept moving
Loud in the class with noise's like a cow mooing
Became wild with rage when on me you intruded
When it comes to food more picky than choosing
A school race of social education i was losing
My skin has always been easily bruising
In a world of my own all to often ensuming
Dreaming away stimming and oddly moving
Fidgeting everytime introduced to something new
Overwhelmed by my sense's so tantrums i through
By age 7 a developmental disorder was proven
Depressed and withdrawn, become self inflicted
Insulting one self helped as a form of protection
Never so much did it hurt from rejection
But stress started causing gastric defection's
Chronically ill from hypertenision
Anxiety problems the doctor's do mention
Constantly hard to pay full attention
Understanding a sentence and also intentsion's
Literally taking the wrong meaning intented
When answering a question somehow i am offensive
Autism spectrum disorder's can not yet be mended
The world is an unpredictible place to attend
With a ridgid mind any change is a hard rule bend
Outside a fixed routine little do i comprehend

I enjoyed reading that because it sounded a lot like me as a child and even now. I lock myself away and rock to music, its my obsession. I have do-e it since childhood. In school I was told always to stop daydreaming, or stop bouncing my legs up and down or stop fidgeting. I had a rough time with attention, still do. I often misunderstand someones true meaning. Whether it be their words or expressions. It made me super sensitive emotionally as a child and often still does. Yes you seem similar to me. Its good to not feel alone. Thank you for posting.

What is wrong
I was often asked
The child that did not understand a task
Alway's confused
Constantly unsure
Of what was said to do as a chore
The phone would ring
Every single night
My parents face
Pale an full of fright
Your school say's
There is something wrong with you
They are wrong
And of this you must disprove
I lacked in some way
From everyone else
They could intergrate
All by themselve's
I watched in awe
Of the effortless ease
None of the other kid's had
My friendless disease

I felt i was flawed
By others ignored
Somehow at fault
Alway's the same result
Pay attention and understand
Look people in the eye
When shaking there hand
You need to listen
Then follow teachers command's
Now its many year's on
Some things have changed
But i am still a boy
Now the age of a man
The social world
I do not comprehend
My friendless disease
Will be with me untill the end
