My favorite movie scores:

Night at the Roxbury (it's a shame that the only song anybody remembers from it is "What Is Love", because the entire soundtrack is awesome)
Nightmare Before Christmas
Sweeney Todd
The Lion King II: Simba's Pride
Balto II: Wolf Quest
American Tail II: Fievel Goes West

I know that sequels are almost never as good as the originals, but for some reason I always really loved them when I was a kid. I guess that my taste in movies has always been questionable. :P

James Horner's score from A Beautiful Mind is a breathtaking masterpiece that can make me feel at peace, sob, or get me inspired. It will always remain my favorite score; it brings mental illness and genius/mathematics to life in music. Second would be Nicholas Hooper's score for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
