great painting!
to me what it conveys is how someone with AS sees things. the folds on the couch are more prominent than the children, the outlines of the umbrella, and so on. that's how I see things anyway. If God appeared in front of me, I would probly be noticing the details of his/hers/its appearance first and then I'd be like "oh wow, this is god- and his left sandal has a stain on it".
why sandal and not sneaker? coz it seems that the no 1 footwear chosen by gods are always some kind of sandals.
