Anyone in Central Ohio?

Hey everyone,

I live in Columbus, Ohio, and am finding that resources and groups for Asperger's are hard to come by. Mainly everything addresses depression and mental illness, which Asperger's, in my opinion, is NOT. I do have depression, but it frustrates me that all the groups in this area are solely focused on mental illness. I've been in groups like that before, and found them not helpful because everyone else in the group has far more serious issues than I do; I just get regular seasonal depression.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a useful resource? I know there was a group for Asperger's that met, but it doesn't meet anymore. Please be advised that I have checked both the NAMI and ADAMH state/local sites, and found very little useful info from them. If there simply isn't much, I'm interested in opening up a dialogue among Central Ohio members, possibly forming a group.

I am from Mansfield, Ohio and have been having the same problems finding Aspie groups or something like it. Maybe someone should start an online group.

search amigo family counseling (i cant post the link due to me being a new user)

i go here and the head therapist dr.amigo as hes known is super chill but he knows when to cash your reality check

deffinetly worth checking out at least

I was born in Maumee, Ohio but raised in Toledo, Ohio. However I had to move in 2009 to Indiana due to the stock market crash that had happened a year later. Eventually, I had to move from Indiana to Texas, where I still live to this day.
