Was anyone else doing the same thing as you?

My IP was banned on this site for several years because both me and my brother made an account, and apparently you can only have one per I.P. address.

No they thought you two were the same people.

And also, I can't remember if I was banned then, but an American Oasis-related mailing list were on about me breaking the rules when I was young, because I thought the f word would be par of the course between Oasis fans. So I was trying to fit myself into the group in a rigid way, but not being concious of the cultural differences between completely different regions.

Forget what I've posted earlier on. I've just remembered a time that I was almost banned from Facebook for friending people that I didn't know who shared my mum's maiden name. I'm not sure if Facebook would be considered a public forum or not.

I got banned from a Gran Turismo forum for trolling after I couldn't be bothered to continue with a debate.

This was many years ago, my tolerance levels were low...It was fun though :D

I've gotten warnings for being argumentatively honest (at least honest in my own little world) pretty frequently, but I've never been banned.
I guess that's because I'm not trollish enough to keep it up when I've been proven wrong by someone who knows a lot more about the said subject that I'm arguing.
But yeah, I've had plenty of forums get annoyed with my vehement explosions of false wisdom.
